20th June 2010
We wake early in the morning today
as we decided to go Teluk Bahang for the Tropical Fruit Farm
I didn't expect that the place could be so far away
and I don't really know the exact place
till I saw the sign of TROPICAL FRUIT FARM
We then follow the sign, and the road lead us up hill
when we finally reach there
we found something strange about that place
there's only a fruit stall and that's it
not even a welcome sign
We actually thought we went to the wrong place
and we go down hill again
then I called my brother to Google the place once more
and he said that's the place
so once again we went up the hill
park the car and went down to have a look
There comes a man with warmest greet
"Welcome to Penang Tropical Fruit Farm"
then we are sure that we are at the right place
but we were still doubting about the place
because there's nothing for us to see
The man then bring us to the counter
he says we have to pay RM27 each for the entrance fee
then a van will bring us high up to the top of the hill
We waited about 5 minutes
there comes the van, and saw few Arabians came down
so now it's our turn and we were excited about it
That's us in the mini van
few minutes later, the driver drop us with a group of people
they were some of the visitors and a tour guide
he showed us the tree of a dragon fruit
explaining to us about the color inside
that some would be red & some were white in color
We were then brought to see different kinds of fruit trees
explains the history of the fruit
and most of the fruits we've already seen and known
i can see it all in my granny's place
but their purpose is to let tourist know more about the fruits
After the session end
we were brought to the canteen
where we have free fruit juice to collect
♥ ♥
and free fruits to try
♥ ♥
♥ ♥
After finish eating, it's time for us to leave
we get to walk around while waiting the mini van
let's see some of the photos
♥ ♥
♥ ♥
♥ ♥
What do I feel about the place?
I feel that it is not worth to come here
because all I get to see is
Durian, Rambutan, Papaya, Banana & Coconut Tree
And the environment is like =.=''
nothing seems to be beautiful there
it's just an experience
Anyhow, after i left the place
we went through the Teluk Bahang Dam
and we stop for a quick shot
We then go over to the most happening hotel in Penang
it's like a place that everyone in Penang have to visit
Hard Rock Hotel Penang
Few photos taken over there, enjoy it!
♥ ♥
♥ ♥
♥ ♥
♥ ♥
We wave goodbye to the hotel
and we then go to the Penang Toy Museum
which located just in front of Copthorne Orchid Hotel
This is the entrance of the museum
with Egyptian style of design
but I dunno why they put Ninja Turtle and Alien to welcome us
About the entrance fee
Malaysian - RM10
Non-Malaysian - RM12
US!
taken inside the museum
There's a lot of toys photo taken inside the museum
it's too much for me to show here
feel free to visit my facebook for more photos in the museum
but there's 1 thing that I would like to share here
IT'S BARBIE!
I love the dolls so much! I bet you girls too!
there were lots of Barbies over there
and they were all mostly limited edition
like what I showed you in the photo
those Barbies represented different country and races
it's so damn cool !
It's almost dinner time
we then went for our sweet dinner
we actually planned to go for Harvest In Cafe
but they were closed on that day
so we drove back to Gurney Plaza
and go for NANDO'S
Nando's is a memorable place for us both
it is where our 1st date set to be
I will never forget the day he 1st date me out
and we chose to go Nando's
it is a moment to be remembered
Time passes so soon
we end our day after dinner
cause we both feel very tired for traveling the whole afternoon
but at least we had fun
Note:
thanks for everything you've done dear!
